Lanzilotta Promoted to President of Fleet Response
HUDSON, Ohio – Fleet Response announced this week that Allison Lanzilotta, formerly executive vice president, has been promoted to president of the company.
Fleet Response is a specialized auto third party administrator (TPA) that offers claims, safety and compliance solutions for fleet, risk and safety teams. The company was founded in 1986 as Rental Concepts Inc. It began doing business as Fleet Response in 2003.
Lanzilotta grew up in Rocky River and attended Grove City College in Grove City, Pa. After graduating in 1999 with a degree in molecular biology and business management, she returned to northeastern Ohio to begin her job search. Spotting a newspaper ad for a small family-owned business known as Rental Concepts Inc., she applied for a job in the subrogation department and was hired by Ron Mawaka Sr., who founded the company.
Lanzilotta attributes much of her career growth to Scott Mawaka, who took on the role of CEO/President in 2016.
“Scott’s been great at challenging me and allowing me to work on open-ended on projects with autonomy. He’d always answer my questions and give feedback but pushed me to learn as I go. He helped me set goals and a vision, with lots of brainstorming on the strategy side,” she says.
