LaRocca Named ‘Club Executive of the Year’
Youngstown native Richard LaRocca, general manager of The Country Club of Orlando in Orlando, Fla., was named the 2017 Club Executive of the Year by Club Management magazine. LaRocca attended Cardinal Mooney High School while working his first job as a caddy at the Youngstown Country Club. A 1984 graduate of Youngstown State University, he worked at Tippecanoe Country Club and has managed clubs since 1990 including the Allegheny Country Club in Sewickley, Pa. His brother Pat manages the Oakmont Country Club outside Pittsburgh and brother Joe is chief operating officer of The Lake Club in Poland.
