LaRose Says Absentee Voting ‘Trusted and Secure’ in Ohio

YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio — Ohio Secretary of State Frank LaRose discussed the voting process for the upcoming election and the safeguards for absentee ballots during the Rotary Club of Youngstown’s meeting at Cassese’s MVR in Youngstown.

Despite claims made by President Donald Trump that absentee voting would lead to fraud, LaRose said it’s “trusted and secure” in the state of Ohio.

“It’s something that we’ve been doing for a long time in Ohio,” he said. “Ohioans trust it and they know it’s an easy way to cast their ballot.”
