Vidale’s LBF Capital Buys 3 Properties for $1.6 Million

YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio – Three properties in Boardman and Canfield have been purchased for $1.6 million by a group led by businessman Terrill Vidale.

LBF Capital Group closed on the properties – 8302 Southern Blvd. in Boardman and 6378 and 6402 St. Andrews Drive in Canfield – last week.

The Southern Boulevard property, near the intersection with McClurg Road, sold for $850,000, according to the Mahoning County Auditor’s Office. The building, nearly 21,000 square feet, sits on 3.25 acres. Tee Up Golf Centre’s driving range occupies most of the property, with the building housing Grunau Co., American Karate Studios, Mink Financial Services and The Boardman News. The seller is The Compco Land Co.

In Canfield, the St. Andrews Drive properties sold for $755,000. Combined, the buildings have 16 apartments, as well as a carport behind each building. Information listed on the county auditor’s office shows the transaction as the purchase of two parcels. The seller is Poland Properties 1 LLC.

Last summer, another group led by Vidale, G.A.I. Capital Group, purchased three properties – two apartment buildings in Boardman and an office building at 23 Lisbon St. in Canfield – for $1.33 million.

Vidale formerly was the city of Youngstown’s coordinator of downtown events and special projects, and the owner of 2Deep Entertainment, which was based downtown.
