Koncar says the real estate market boom that the area has experienced this year will likely continue throughout the fall season, thanks to historically low interest rates.

“Fall is a great time to buy,” she says, because there is often less competition among buyers. Over the summer months, a shortage of homes on the market led to multiple offers on most properties, with many would-be buyers missing out.

Koncar also shares tips for buyers to make their offers more enticing to sellers.
