Levin Furniture Outlet Opening at Eastwood Complex

NILES, Ohio — Cafaro Co. announced Wednesday that Levin Furniture Outlet will open at the Eastwood Mall Complex later this month.

The store will be located in the former Gander Outdoor building, a 61,000-square-foot space in the Howland Commons section of the complex near Kohl’s and Burlington.

The outlet is the first of a new concept from the Levin chain, featuring overstock merchandise from other Levin stores, including Ashley, Flexsteel, Lane, Serta, Stearns & Foster, Tempur-pedic, Sealy and more.

Founded in 1920 by Sam and Jessie Levin in Mt. Pleasant, Pa., Levin was purchased by outside investors in 2017, but encountered financial difficulties, according to a release. This year, the founders’ grandson, Robert Levin, and partners John and Matt Schultz re-purchased the chain out of bankruptcy and now operate 17 stores in the Cleveland and Pittsburgh areas.
