Cable PTV Station Changes Channels in Youngstown
YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio – PTV, a local public access cable TV channel, has moved to a new Spectrum channel number for Youngstown viewers.
The cable station, which broadcasts viewer-submitted “free speech” videos to Spectrum subscribers in Youngstown, (channel nine) and in Trumbull County (channel 15), has been moved to channel 1025 in Youngstown as part of Spectrum’s change to an all-digital system.
Trumbull County’s channel assignment will also be changed in the near future. Viewers can expect the station to be moved between channels 1021 and 1024.
PTV, launched in the Youngstown Business Incubator, broadcasts mostly local church, school project and musicians’ videos. The station is currently in the midst of a government outreach campaign that will seek to bring more in-depth coverage of legislative operations in the Mahoning Valley, its director, Joe Perkins, said.
Further updates will be posted on the PTV website at Onlineptv.com.
