Local Investor Buys Former Loves Furniture for $2.55M

BOARDMAN, Ohio — A local investor purchased the former Loves Furniture and Mattresses building at 300 Boardman-Poland Road for $2.55 million.

300 Boardman-Poland Road Realty LLC, which lists a 1419 Boardman-Canfield Road address for tax purposes, closed on the transaction Feb. 16, according to documents from the Mahoning County Auditor office.

State records show 300 Boardman Poland Road Realty was incorporated in January 2022.

The 51,390-square-foot retail space sits on 8.1 acres – five acres of commercial land and three residential – according to a property brochure from CBRE. The daily traffic count for the corridor is just shy of 33,000 vehicles.

Formerly a Levin Furniture store location, Loves downsized its operations in December 2020, closing locations in Boardman and Niles in Ohio and Hermitage, Pa.
