Lordstown Motors Shares Video of First Endurance Beta Models

LORDSTOWN, Ohio – The first two beta models of the Lordstown Motors Endurance came off the manufacturing line Wednesday

The startup automaker shared video of the models, two of 57 Lordstown Motors Corp. says it will produce before starting mass production in September. The trucks will be used for crash, engineering and validation testing.

“This significant milestone – for the company and the EV industry – is a testament to the hard work, skill and work ethic of the 500 Lordstown Motors associates,” the company said in a statement.

Also Wednesday, the company filed a document with the Securities and Exchange Commission that set its 2021 annual meeting of stockholders for June 17. No additional information was provided as to how or where the meeting would take place.

Lordstown Motors did stipulate, however, that any “stockholder proposal not included in the proxy statement will be ineligible for presentation at the meeting” unless written notice is submitted to the company by April 10.

The company’s stock, traded on Nasdaq, closed Wednesday at $11.77, up 1.65% from Tuesday. Nearly 6.02 million shares were traded Wednesday.

On Tuesday, nearly 7.4 million shares were traded.
