Mars Electric Opens New Location in Youngstown
YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio – Mars Electric, based in Mayfield Village, Ohio, has opened its 12th location at 1208 Ameritech Blvd.
Mars Electric was founded in 1952 and is a third-generation, family-owned and operated business that serves as a wholesale distributor of lighting, power distribution and electrical supplies.
In a news release, the company said the Youngstown location was added to provide electrical contractors, industrial facilities, hospitals and institutions in the area with quick access to its 10,000 in-stock products and thousands of hard-to-find electrical, lighting and power distribution products.
“Youngstown is an important location for us. Many customers rely on us to provide fast access to everyday electrical items for their residential, commercial and industrial projects,” said Michael Mammone, senior vice president of sales at Mars Electric.
Mars Electric purchased the 21,000-square-foot building in the Salt Springs Industrial Park for $1.4 million in July 2023. The company renovated the building, adding “features like drive-in access for customer loading, a state-of-the-art counter with space for product demonstrations, a training room with livestream capabilities and prefab space for customers to assemble equipment onsite, such as site lighting poles and heads,” Mammone said.
Customers will have access to the following services:

- Specialized pipe and colored wire management solutions for next-day delivery.
- Emergency same-day delivery service.
- Twenty delivery trucks and a crane truck available every day.
