Marvin Logan Jr. Named Oh Wow! Executive Director
YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio — Oh Wow! The Roger & Gloria Jones Children’s Center for Science & Technology has named Marvin Logan Jr. as the new executive director of the organization.
“I’m incredibly excited and honored for the opportunity to lead this amazing organization,” Logan said in a release. “We’ve built a solid foundation of serving youth, families and educators throughout our community over the last decade and as we look to the future, Oh Wow will play a major part in cultivating innovation and imagination and a new world of possibilities. The future of Oh Wow is bright.”
Logan assumes the role of executive director after Suzanne Barbati announced her transition in July to director of planned giving after holding the role of president and executive director of Oh Wow for more than 12 years.
A Warren native and graduate of Warren G. Harding High School, as well as Kent State University, Logan comes into his new role after serving more than two years with the Boys & Girls Clubs of Southeastern Michigan. He is also founder of The Logan Co. in Warren.
Logan also worked as transition coordinator with Inspiring Minds in Warren.
He is currently a candidate in The University of Notre Dame Master’s of Nonprofit Administration program and is scheduled to graduate in December 2021.
