Maynard to Direct Development at ACH Mahoning Valley
Akron Children’s Hospital has named Luann Maynard as the director of development for Akron Children’s Hospital Mahoning Valley. A graduate of Kent State University, Maynard started her fundraising career six years ago at the MetroHealth Foundation in Cleveland. Before that position, she spent more than 25 years in sales and training, most recently at Shire Pharmaceutical. Maynard will lead the fundraising efforts at the Beeghly campus and surrounding ACH Mahoning Valley facilities. In the regional hospital’s first 10 years in existence, the local foundation has raised approximately $27 million to support programs and services for area children and families.
