Mayor Doug Franklin on Appreciating the Business Community
WARREN, Ohio – Mayor Doug Franklin served 13 years on Warren City Council, both as a member and president, then eight years as safety service director. He was elected mayor in 2011.
Franklin says he is extremely optimistic about Warren’s future and notes the business community gets overlooked and is underappreciated.
“We deliberately wanted to change that and be business friendly,” he says. “… to be able to respond not only to our citizens, but the business community as well.”
