MCCTC Adult Education Open House Slated for Aug. 17

CANFIELD, Ohio – Mahoning County Career and Technical Center Adult Career Center is holding a fall enrollment open house Aug. 17 from 5 to 7 p.m., at its campus on 7300 N. Palmyra Road.

Career training programs being offered are welding, automotive technology, medical assistant, medical office specialist, emergency medical technician (EMT) or Firefighter I and II.

“We realized that a daytime open house is not always ideal for everyone’s schedule,” says MCCTC Adult Career Center Recruiter and Marketing Coordinator Jodi Glass. “That is why we decided to offer one last fall enrollment open house for 2021, but hold it during after work hours.”

Campus tours will take place anytime during the event.

Prospective students can meet with student services and find out more about potential funding sources to help pay for education. In addition, there will be a FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) informational session starting at 6 p.m.

Those needing more details about the event can call the MCCTC Adult Career Center office at 330 729 4100.
