MCCTC Energy Center To Prep Students for EV Careers

CANFIELD, Ohio — The Mahoning County Career and Technical Center broke ground on their Innovative Energy and Technology Workforce Training center.

The $1.1 million energy center will be approximately 4,000 square feet and will be used to train students in traditional and progressive energy systems and upskill existing workers across the Mahoning Valley.

“There are so many job opportunities throughout Ohio,” said John Zehentbauer, superintendent of MCCTC. “We always tell the students when they come in, ‘If you come in here and do what you’re told, you’re going to have a very well-paying job in the next two to three years.'”
