MCCTC Hosts Student Skills Competition
CANFIELD, Ohio – The Mahoning County Career & Technical Center was the host for this year’s Ohio Northeast Regionals SkillsUSA Competition.
The event brought together students from 16 schools across northeastern Ohio to compete and showcase their skills to judges and potential area employers.
“The kids have been working very hard in their labs to prepare for the competitions,” says Walter Baber, engineering and robotics instructor at MCCTC. “This is more of a real-world scenario as to what they’re going to see when they go out.”
