McDonald Steel Sees Bright Future

McDonald Steel recently purchased a new, more-efficient furnace and is seeing an increase in orders early in 2021.

The company survived the closing of the steel mills in the late 1970s and began operating as its own entity in 1981.

McDonald Steel used to be a supplier of rims for Firestone and Goodyear in Akron. Since then, the company has expanded to serve the automotive, railroad and bridge industries.
