Meijer Hiring for New Store at Eastwood Mall Complex
NILES, Ohio – Meijer is starting the hiring process for its new store at the Eastwood Mall Complex.
The Grand Rapids, Mich.-based retailer, which operates more than 250 supercenter and grocery stores in Michigan, Ohio, Indiana, Illinois, Kentucky and Wisconsin, is building a 159,935-square-foot supercenter at Howland Commons on the site of the former Kmart Super Center. The store is slated to open later this year.
Meijer is seeking to fill 350 part- and full-time positions at the store, as well as its new supercenter in Wooster, which is also scheduled to open later this year. The retailer is hiring for all positions, including cashiers, clerks, cake decorators and meat cutters.
According to a news release, Meijer offers flexible scheduling, free education, team member discount, option for 401k retirement planning and paid parental leave. Starting pay is based on experience level and specific skills.
