Memorable Meals Event Set for April 26 at Stambaugh

YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio — Tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. Feb. 16 for the second annual Memorable Meals Mahoning Valley. This year’s event will take place 2-5 p.m. April 26 in the recently renovated Grand Ballroom at Stambaugh Auditorium.

The event, themed “Dining Across Cultures,” will feature local cuisine from a variety of cultures. Selections will include pierogis, spinning bowl salads, Italian greens, corned beef, hot peppers, pulled pork, crème sticks and much more.

Participating local restaurants will include Kravitz Delicatessen, Dog House Hot Dogs, Avalon Downtown, Abruzzi’s, Charlie Staples, Plaza Donuts and others. Libations from local wineries and breweries willbe available at the event, which will feature local chefs producing classic dishes made with locally grown produce and meat. Also, local historian Tom Welsh will discuss his book, Classic Restaurants of Youngstown.
