Mental Health and Recovery Board Seeks Nominees for Awards

YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio – The Mahoning County Mental Health and Recovery Board is searching for individuals and programs that have had an impact on the quality of life of county residents.

The board is seeking nominations for its 2023 Mental Health and Recovery Board Awards, which recognize individuals and organizations that have distinguished themselves as leaders in the field of mental health and addiction recovery.

Nominations are being sought for the following awards:

• Program of the Year.
• Crisis Incident Stress Management Award.
• Front Line Staff of the Year Award.
• Support Staff of the Year Award.
• Leader of the Year Award.
• Advocate of the Year Award.
• Eagle Award.
• CIT Officer of the Year.

A nomination form, which must be submitted by Aug. 18, is available HERE. The awards will be presented Sept. 15.
