Mercy Adds Firestone Healthcare as Affiliate

YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio – Firestone Healthcare has joined as an affiliate of Mercy Health-Youngstown, allowing its patients greater access to Mercy’s services such as its specialty care network and MyChart platform.

“This is an exciting milestone not only for Mercy Health and the Firestone team, but for the communities we mutually serve,” said Dr. John Luellen, market president of Mercy Health-Youngstown, in a statement. “We’re confident that our shared commitment to caring for our communities will enable us to join together to offer the highest-quality health care and the most extensive provider options to the Mahoning Valley.”

Firestone Healthcare has offices in East Palestine and Sebring. The Sebring office, which opened Monday, replaces the former Damascus office. The practice was founded in 1998.

“Firestone Healthcare providers and Mercy Health will come together to not only share the benefits of additional resources, but to combine the expert-level care that patients have come to expect,” Luellen continued. “The move will further optimize coordination of care, enhance communication and enrich the patient experience across Mercy Health and Firestone Healthcare locations, across Columbiana County and southwestern Mahoning County.”
