Mercy Expands Walk-in Care to North Lima Medical Center

NORTH LIMA, Ohio – Mercy Health has expanded its walk-in care model to North Lima Medical Center and offering longer hours of operation.

The medical center, 9471 Market St. in North Lima, is open 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Friday and 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. on weekends.

Walk-in care is focused on treating minor health problems such as cold and flu symptoms, sprains, minor burns, ear and throat pain, animal bites and lacerations. 

Care for such issues, Mercy Health said in a statement, costs less when patients visit nonemergency settings such as walk-in care and tend to have shorter wait times.

Patients with symptoms relating to chest pain, fractured bones and other severe injuries and illness should seek care at an emergency room or call 911.
