Mercy Health Youngstown Names Seminaro CFO
YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio – Mercy Health Youngstown has named Anthony Seminaro as its new chief financial officer, the hospital system has announced.
In the position, Seminaro is responsible for overseeing Mercy’s financial and physical assets, as well as construction, real estate and reimbursement in the area.
“We’re in the midst of a transformative healthcare climate, and it demands the most proactive, innovative financial leadership,” said Mercy Health Youngstown President and CEO Donald Kline in a release. “Anthony brings proven experience driving financial performance and delivering against key financial metrics. In this role, he will be integral to the sustainability of our organization to help ensure we continue to deliver on our mission here in the Mahoning Valley.”
A Valley native, Seminaro previously worked as CFO for Hospital Corporation of America’s Fawcett Memorial and Engelwood Community hospitals in Port Charlotte, Fla.

Seminaro follows Matthew Love, who joined Mercy Health Youngstown as CFO in 2012. Love recently took a position as Mercy Health’s regions CFO, overseeing all seven areas in Ohio and Kentucky in which the system operates.
