Middlefield Banc Corp. Names Allen, Lane EVPs

Middlefield Banc Corp. has expanded its leadership team with the appointment of Michael L. Allen (pictured) as executive vice president/chief banking officer and John D. Lane as executive vice president/chief credit and risk officer. Allen will be responsible for managing the company’s retail and commercial banking operations and marketing activities. Lane will oversee the company’s credit administration, loan administration and risk/audit/compliance programs. Before joining Middlefield, Allen was president of the Mid-Ohio Valley Division of Premier Bank. Lane was senior vice president, credit risk, at Civista Bank. “Mike and John are proven leaders that have the experience, drive, and diverse skill sets to immediately add value across our organization,” says Thomas G. Caldwell, president and CEO. “Over the past several years we have made a number of important personnel decisions that are focused on enhancing our leadership team and driving growth.” Middlefield Banc Corp. has total assets of $1.2 billion. The company operates 15 banking centers and LPL Financial brokerage offices.
