MiMe Opening New Belmont Avenue Location

YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio – MiMe Global will celebrate its new location by hosting a grand opening event from noon to 6 p.m. Friday through Sunday.

Previously located in Eastwood Mall, where it was the winner of the Eastwood Mall Small Shop Showdown competition in June 2019, MiMe is moving to 2533 Belmont Ave. The location is the former glass bank building in Union Square Plaza at the intersection of Gypsy Lane and Belmont Avenue.

MiMe uses photo and additive manufacturing technology to print lifelike, full-color miniatures of people, pets and objects. It also sells and services 3D printing machines and sells 3D printer spare parts and supplies.

During the grand opening event this weekend, the first 100 people each day will receive free coupons to win a prize or discount prize. Short tours will be given, highlighting the photogrammetry and 3D technology the business uses.

MiMe will donate 25% of each pet figurine purchased to the Animal Welfare League, and each pet will receive a free banana.

Food truck vendors – Karter’s Korner, Rita’s Italian Ice, Affordable Delectables and Tumerica – will be on hand.
