Mosca to Lead Mahoning County Children Services Board
Joseph Mosca, dean of the Bitonte College of Health and Human Services at Youngstown State University, has been elected chairman of the Mahoning County Children Services Board. Mosca (pictured) replaces Brigid Kennedy, immediate past chairman. Other officers are Dr. Benjamin McGee, retired superintendent of Youngstown City Schools, vice chairman; and Anthony Spano, purchasing coordinator at YSU, secretary. Marilyn Montes, director of operations for Mahoning Youngstown Community Action Partnership, and Daniel Wakefield, director of the Ursuline Sisters HIV/AIDS ministry, are newly appointed board members. The board is comprised of eight members who serve two-year terms and are appointed by the Mahoning County Board of Commissioners.
