MVHS Celebrates Youngstown’s Birthday
YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio – In partnership with Youngstown CityScape and the city of Youngstown, the Mahoning Valley Historical Society celebrated Youngstown’s birthday by hosting a guided walking tour of historic Wick Avenue.
The tour gave people a chance to learn about the buildings along Wick Avenue and where they fit into Youngstown’s historical identity.
“It is really important to learn how things have grown and changed over time with the vision of some of our community leaders over the last 200 years,” says Traci Manning, curator of education for MVHS.
