MVHS to Begin $10M Fundraising Campaign
YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio – Downtown’s IBM Building has a new owner. The 250 E. Federal St. building was purchased by the Mahoning Valley Historical Society for $1.9 million.
The acquisition of the building will serve as the keystone of a $10 million fundraising campaign, according to Bill Lawson, MVHS executive director.
“This is going to be the largest campaign we’ve ever done,” Lawson said. “It’s going to stretch our organization in terms of meeting our goals for this site.”
