MVMC Steps Up Youth Outreach Efforts
CANFIELD, Ohio — The Mahoning Valley Manufacturers Coalition is increasing its youth outreach initiatives. Executive director Jessica Borza says the larger the organization becomes, the louder its voice and the more extensive its reach.
The keynote speaker at the MVMC quarterly meeting was Wasilwa Mwonyonyi, career development coordinator & business developer at the National Center for Urban Solutions.
“When you meet [people] where they’re at, you can expose them to more things. You have to have that relationship building and NCUS focuses on relationships,” says Mwonyonyi.
