Myers joins Akron Children’s Pediatrics in Lisbon
AKRON, Ohio – Susan Myers, M.D., has joined Akron Children’s Pediatrics’ Lisbon location. The practice – at 400 N. Market St. — provides pediatric primary care for babies, children and teens.
Myers earned her bachelor’s degree from Mount Vernon Nazarene University and her medical degree from The Medical College of Ohio at Toledo University. She completed her pediatric residency at Akron Children’s.
A fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics, Myers is board certified in pediatrics and has been practicing medicine since 1996.
Before coming to Akron Children’s, Myers served as a staff physician and director of medical services at the cervical cancer screening clinic at Nazarene General Hospital, Church of The Nazarene in Kudjip, Papua New Guinea, where she diagnosed and treated patients in dire need for over 20 years.
In addition to Myers, the Lisbon office is staffed by Dr. David Cahill as well as several nurse practitioners.
