“I think it’s becoming a lot more common for young ladies to go into this type of work,” says Lauren Homack, metallurgical engineer for Ellwood Aluminum.
“If college is not for you, this is definitely a good outlet. You can support yourself. You can support your family,” says Candalynne Fredericks, finishing operator for Ellwood Aluminum.
