New Boardman Chick-fil-A to Open March 31

BOARDMAN, Ohio — Chick-fil-A Inc. will open its new Tiffany Square restaurant March 31, the restaurant chain announced today.

The existing Chick-fil-A restaurant, located across the street from the new 1110 Boardman-Poland Road, will close Saturday after operating there for two decades, according to a news release emailed this morning.

The 5,000-square-foot restaurant will open at 6:30 a,m., with a ribbon-cutting ceremony at 9 a.m. featuring Boardman and Poland Village officials. Local franchisee Gail McCullough and others on hand also will take the official “first bite” of a Chick-fil-A sandwich at the new location.

The new location will feature dual drive-through ordering lanes and screens, two-story interactive indoor play area for children, free WiFi, dining room seating for 115 customers and additional outdoor patio seating.

To celebrate the location, McCullough is inviting customers to participate in a book drive for Akron Children’s Hospital. The store will collect new and gently used books.
