New Business Filings in Ohio Increase in October

COLUMBUS, Ohio – Ohio Secretary of State Frank LaRose on Friday announced 14,448 new business filings in October, an increase of more than 400 businesses compared with filings from October 2022.

The state has seen 156,874 new businesses created so far in 2023. The state is 22,762 new business filings away from a record-breaking year, a news release from the secretary of state’s office states.

“The October 2023 filings demonstrate the resilience of Ohio’s growing economy and its business owners,” the release states.
