New Hires, Services Drive Sales Increase for Regal
NILES, Ohio – In 2018, Regal Promotional Products enjoyed a 78% increase in sales volume over the year before. Company President Jean Corliss chalks it up to hiring two additional sales staff and making new technology more available to customers.
“When a potential customer visits Regal’s website, not only can they search for a product and obtain pricing, but they can also place an order,” Corliss said. “This is also true through our Facebook site. A customer is more in control in their search and can purchase the products they need.”
Such products and services include iPROMOTEu, a national network of independent promotional products distributors that Regal became an affiliate for last year. As an affiliate, Regal receives additional administrative and backend support, allowing sales staff to devote more time to working with customers on marketing ideas, Corliss said.
Its buying power also lets Regal purchase products from manufacturers at a lower cost, savings that the company passes on to its customers, she added.
In 2019, Regal looks to add “ink on paper” products, including brochures, flyers, banners and booklets, as well as packaging and graphic design services, she said. To accommodate that expansion, the company will bring on more salespeople.
Regal staff are involved with various area nonprofits as well the Youngstown Air Reserve Station and its Community Base Council, the Strimbu Memorial Fund, the Lions Club and St. Stephen Parish with both time and charitable contributions.
