New Leadership Positions at Meridian Healthcare

YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio — To remain effective in a more integrated health care environment, Meridian Healthcare has announced four new leadership positions.

The new positions will improve communications and allow for agency-wide leadership, with a focus on planning, strategy, sustainability and support of the nonprofit’s overall mission of addiction treatment and recovery support.

“I am very proud of the leadership team we have put together,” said Larry Moliterno, president and CEO. “This team ensures that Meridian is able to continue to provide the best quality of care to our patients, across all programs, now and for years to come.”

Darla Gallagher, who has been with the agency for over 30 years, will continue to oversee all administrative operations for the agency as senior vice president of business operations.

Katherine Komara, who has a background in both business and behavioral health, will lead Meridian’s clinical programming, planning, compliance and quality assurance as vice president of clinical operations.

Chase Connors, Meridian’s current director of information systems, will be promoted to chief financial officer and spearhead the agency’s financial operations, information technology and revenue cycle management.

Gina Pastella brings more than 25 years of experience in staff and leadership development as Meridian’s chief operating officer. She will be responsible for human resources, professional development and strategic planning.
