Children’s Center Announces New Executive Director
YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio – Oh Wow! The Roger & Gloria Jones Children’s Center for Science & Technology announced the appointment of its new executive director, Katie Seminara-DeToro.
A surprise contribution came from David and Caroline Jones, who announced they will donate $150,000 to Oh Wow for its operating budget. David’s parents, Roger and Gloria Jones, founded the downtown children’s center.
“I thought he was joking when he told me, if I’m being quite honest,” Seminara-DeToro says. “We just want to be good stewards of not only the Jones’ funds, but any contributions that are coming in to Oh Wow and really do what’s best for the community.”
