Niles Gander Mountain Plans Busy Weekend for Grand Opening
NILES, Ohio – The Gander Mountain store in Niles will celebrate a weekend-long grand opening, beginning with a concert by country artist Nate Hosie at 9 a.m. and a ribbon cutting at 9:45 March 18.
The store, 2390 Niles Cortland Road SE, will open to customers at 10 a.m. The first 250 customers between March 18 and 20 will be given scratch-off cards to win prizes including gift cards and 50% off coupons. A
At 61,320 square feet, the new store is twice the size of the previous location.
Among the appearances scheduled for the weekend are Cleveland Browns tight end Gary Barnidge and tackle Joe Thomas, as well as Troy Landry from The History Channel’s Swamp People.
Several events for children are scheduled, including a “build-a-call” from 9 a.m. to noon on the 19th and 20th and a fishing lure building session from 6 to 8 p.m. on the 19th and noon to 3 p.m. on the 20th.
