Norfolk Southern CEO on Progress in East Palestine
EAST PALESTINE, Ohio – Alan Shaw, president and CEO of Norfolk Southern, discussed the progress made in the village of East Palestine since the train derailment that took place nearly one year ago.
Shaw touched on community, economic and environmental efforts made in the village during a media roundtable Monday.
“My focus throughout this thing is to do what’s right and keep our promises,” Shaw said. “That’s what we’re doing, and that’s the right thing to do.”
