North of Madison Avenue to Unveil Art Installation

YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio – North of Madison Avenue will unveil a business directory art installation at 1 p.m. Saturday. The installation is at the Lake to River Food Hub on the site of the future co-op grocery store, 818 Elm St.

The art installation, made by Michael Staaf of Steel Valley Sign in Struthers, is described as a community collaboration and beautification effort that showcases the local businesses and organizations in the North Side neighborhood.

After the unveiling of the art installation, visitors are invited to join the businesses and organizations for music and festivities across the street at the Cultivate Café, 901 Elm St. This family-friendly event will have local mulled cider and treats, organizers say.

This event is hosted by the Lake to River Food Hub and North of Madison Avenue with the support of Youngstown Neighborhood Development Corp. and the Raymond John Wean Foundation.
