Oh Wow! to Feature International Performer July 6

YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio — International performer Jeff Raz will appear July 6 at Oh Wow! The Roger & Gloria Jones Children’s Center for Science & Technology.

Raz, a life-long clown, actor, teacher, director and playwright, will host a juggling demonstration and workshop for Oh Wow !visitors. Participation in the workshop is included in the $8 cost of general admission. Advance registration is suggested.

Raz has performed internationally since 1976, including starring roles with Cirque du Soleil, the Pickle Family Circus, Vaudeville Nouveau and on Broadway.  He is a graduate of Dell’Arte International, has written 15 plays and directed many more.  He is the founder of The Clown Conservatory, with students currently performing in circuses and theaters around the world.

Raz continues to work in theaters and circuses and is the artistic director of the Medical Clown Project in San Francisco, the Bay Area casting director for Cirque du Soleil, and works with the global consulting firms Stand & Deliver and People Rocket.
