OhanaLink Technologies Partners with Reynolds Services

HERMITAGE, Pa. – OhanaLink Technologies has partnered with Reynolds Services Inc., Greenville, to offer its OhanaLink at Work to its employees, the company announced Tuesday.

Founded by entrepreneur and former bank executive Kara Wasser, OhanaLink Technologies is a mobile technology development company that offers a menu of health-care technology solutions that are designed to offer secure social communication channels for all ages. The company launched OhanaLink Baby, their first mobile app in June, and more recently, launched OhanaLink Health and OhanaLink Health Kids.

“We understand that having a family member facing a healthcare situation can place additional stress and anxiety on employees.” Wasser said. “We believe that by offering OhanaLink at Work that includes access to our suite of mobile apps, can reduce that stress by offering a private, virtual space to communicate directly with their ‘ohana’ or family circle.”

Reynolds Services is a tin mill service center that specializes in the distribution and sales of cut sheet, flat rolled steel, coil, slit coil and tin mill products. Headquartered in Greenville, the company distributes flat rolled steel and tin mill products internationally and employs nearly 120 full- and part-time employees throughout Pennsylvania, Ohio, Maryland and Florida.

“We are happy to offer OhanaLink at Work as an added benefit for our employees,” John R. Frangakis, chairman and CEO of Reynolds Services, said. “We look forward to introducing the program in the new year and believe that this will help many of our employees who may have family members dealing with healthcare issues to have real time communication about what is going on with their loved ones.”

Priced per employee, the annual subscription for OhanaLink at Work provides access to the OhanaLink Technologies’ suite of solutions that helps patients and families remain connected during any type of health-related event such as the birth of a baby, a critical health diagnosis, surgery, or a longer-term illness or injury. The mobile technology allows users to privately share real time updates in a safe, secure environment unlike other social media channels, group chats or text messaging.
