OhanaLink Technologies Recruits 2 Seasoned Pros
HERMITAGE, Pa. – OhanaLink Technologies this week announced the hiring of Sherris Moreira and Lisa DiMuccio-Zgela to lead business development and marketing for the mobile app development company.
OhanaLink Technologies, headquartered at the eCenter@LindenPointe here, was founded by Kara Wasser, a banking executive turned entrepreneur, who saw the need to directly connect families and patients during a health care event or episode. The company has developed a global communication platform designed to offer secure social communication channels to enhance the patient experience by providing a private, easy-to-use mobile app that directly connect their “ohana,” or community of loved ones.
“I am very excited to be able to continue to recruit high level talent as our business expands,” says Wasser, CEO. “We believe we have the right people with the right skill levels to head up our business development, sales and marketing efforts and take our company to the next level.”
Moreira, named director of business development, comes to OhanaLink from the Shenango Valley Chamber where she served as director since 2016. During her tenure with the chamber, she was instrumental in developing The Rising Rust Belt: A Regional Revitalization Summit. She also initiated the Shenango Valley Chamber Charitable 501c3 Fund for community and economic development projects.
Zgela joined OhanaLink Technologies as the chief marketing officer in October and leads the company’s sales and marketing efforts. As a senior marketing and brand strategist, she has spent nearly three decades developing and implementing large scale marketing, communications, public and media relations, and customer acquisition strategies in a wide range of industries. Most recently she was director of marketing and community relations for Sharon Regional Medical Center.
