Ohio Urban Renaissance Helps Students Achieve Success
YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio– Ohio Urban Renaissance is a nonprofit organization helping local students break down the barriers to academic success.
Ryan Forney, president, says he and his partner Kevin Scott founded the organization in 2017 after seeing a lack of after school programs and activities for high school students.
“One of the main things we address is mentorship,” says Forney. “We do do after school programs. ‘I Can’ is our college prep program so we do a lot of preparation for college and post-secondary education.”
