On Demand Counseling Provides More Rides to Appointments

AUSTINTOWN – On Demand Counseling last year expanded its transportation program, providing nearly 13,000 rides to patients, says Sydney Williams, chief operating officer. “This has improved patient satisfaction and contributed to increased attendance and engagement in counseling services,” she says.

The organization also successfully integrated a new electronic medical records system, according to Williams.

In response to community needs, On Demand Counseling expanded its services to include an ambulatory detox program in East Liverpool, supported by the Columbiana County Mental Health and Recovery Services Board, and introduced partial hospitalization programs with recovery housing.

“The expansion reflects our commitment to evolving with the changing landscape of mental health and substance use care,” Williams says.

This year, On Demand Counseling plans to enhance its phone systems,  improve customer service and implement an advanced telehealth model.
