On-the-Job Trainers Expand Skills with MVMC Workshop

YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio — A new workshop offered by the Mahoning Valley Manufacturers Coalition allows on-the-job trainers at manufacturing companies to expand their communication and coaching skills.

The NIMS OJT Trainer Workshop provides structured training to help trainers take their skills to the next level, according to a press release. The six-session course is designed for manufacturers of all sizes and for both new and experienced trainers or mentors.

The training is conducted online and adds on-the-job practical, relevant assignments. Participants will earn an OJT trainer certification upon successful completion of the course.

Classes are forming now and will begin the week of Sept. 27. The cost is $1,495 per participant with discounts available for MVMC members.
