Packer Thomas Promotes Castor to Principal
CANFIELD, Ohio – Packer Thomas this week announced the promotion of Joseph M. Castor Jr., to principal, effective Oct. 1.
Castor is a graduate of Youngstown State University, where he earned his BSBA, and the University of Phoenix, where he earned his master of science in accounting.
He has over 14 years of public accounting experience. Specialties include auditing and accounting with specific expertise in the manufacturing industry, employee benefit plans, multi-employer benefit plans, nonprofit organizations and internal auditing. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
Castor and his wife Kayla reside in Girard and have two children.
Packer Thomas was established in 1923 and maintains offices here and in New Castle, Pa. The firm provides business consulting services as well as accounting, auditing and tax services with industry concentrations in manufacturing, wholesale distribution, automotive dealerships, construction, oil and gas, organized labor and health care entities.
