Palo Creative Names Plummer Director of Creative Services

YOUNGSTOWN, OhioIn an effort to expand its digital marketing capabilities and better serve its clients, PALO Creative has hired Steve Plummer as its director of creative services.

The new addition to the digital marketing and advertising agency staff results from Palo’s continued growth. Seven new team members have been hired in the past year to serve its growing client list, says Palo’s president and CEO, Rob Palowitz.

Plummer has 36 years of marketing experience, serving in a creative director role at international marketing agencies in northeastern Ohio for the last 14 years. Some of his responsibilities included managing teams, creating design concepts, implementing brand strategies, and working to bridge the gap between creative, account and strategy teams.

“PALO Creative does more digital-driven work than any other agency I’ve worked at in the past,” says Plummer. “So, this is an exciting opportunity for me to learn more about that side of things and apply everything I’ve learned over the years from working for large brands. I feel like I have a different background than anyone here. So I think we can learn from each other and produce some really creative work that will execute well for our clients.”

After growing up an hour north of Philadelphia, Plummer attended The Art Institute of Pittsburgh and graduated with an associate’s degree in visual communications. As director of creative services, his mission is to increase the value to PALO Creative clients by ensuring the work is as smart and effective as it is creative.

“Steve has a vast knowledge and experience working in the business-to-business manufacturing sector,” says Palowitz. “His experience working with industry leaders, C-level executives, and international brands will help extend our team’s capabilities of understanding what works best in the marketplace.”
