Palo Creative Teams Up with Penguin Collective

YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio – Palo Creative is teaming up with the Penguin Collective to serve as the official marketing partner for the Youngstown State University NIL.

In partnership with Palo, the Penguin Collective will offer media packages that will serve as tailored marketing for its clients in the Youngstown area, a news release states. The media packages can include video and content marketing, social media marketing and traditional media such as television and radio.

“I have been around sports most of my life, playing football from age 8 through high school, and then playing two years in college,” said Rob Palowitz, president and CEO of Palo Creative. “I also got to watch my son play for Ursuline and go to state, and it is such an exciting rush I want to keep that involvement going.”

The Penguin Collective created nearly $500,000 in NIL endorsement contracts for 52 student-athletes in 2023, its first official year of operation, according to the release.

“When talking with the Penguin Collective group, it is impressive what they achieved in such a short time,” Palowitz said. “We look to accent and grow the relationships they have been building. We are appreciative and excited about this partnership with them. My son is a YSU sophomore, so what better way to enjoy YSU athletics than being involved with a great group while enjoying time with him, too.”

The collective looks to expand its service to student-athletes through the partnership with Palo.

“We’re excited to continue to be leaders in the NIL space right here in Youngstown, Ohio. None of this happens without the support of many in the community,” said Tim Petrey, founder of the Penguin Collective. “Rob has been a longtime supporter of Youngstown State University, and we’re excited to add him to the Penguin Collective family. We’re excited about the value that this brings to our business community, our university and the student-athletes that will benefit from the NIL collective services.”
