Palo Creative Welcomes Belcik, Lendak to Agency
YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio — Palo Creative is growing with the addition of two team members: Christina Belcik as marketing manager and Scott Lendak as content writer.
Belcik’s goal for the agency is to assist with marketing strategies, create efficiencies and support new business. She joins Palo Creative after working as a marketing manager in Cleveland for four years.
“Christina’s experience with large brands and executing marketing tactics will only strengthen our marketing solutions as we progress into 2021,” says Rob Palowitz, president and CEO of Palo Creative.
Belcik, born and raised in Girard, earned a B.A. in communications while minoring in marketing and public relations at Youngstown State University.
“Everyone who works here is passionate about what they do, and that’s evident through our website and social media,” she says. “I have the opportunity to work for a company that can inspire me to grow and improve, and I love that.”
Lendak comes to PALO after spending a year as a full-time reporter in Columbiana County. It was in this role that he expanded his knowledge in different writing styles, researching and connecting with sources. He covered city council meetings, board of education meetings, sporting events and more before brainstorming creative angles to produce stories.
A native in Boardman, Lendak earned a B.S. in multimedia journalism from Kent State University.
“It’s all about figuring out what type of audience you’re writing for,” he says. “My creativity and experience in writing have given me the ability to provide connections with readers through words.”
