Pandemic Presents Challenges for Print
While increased readership has been good for newspapers, the pandemic has made it hard to sell ads, says Brett Wesner, chairman of the National Newspaper Association.
“The important thing to do now is to maintain or reestablish if you’ve lost contact with your biggest advertisers who have pulled out because of COVID and make sure you maintain those contacts and when the economy improves, you can hop right back into doing some business with them,” Wesner says.
